Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”                                                                                                                 Luke 6:38

A Little History

The Braman Hall Food Pantry is a ministry of Duanesburg Florida Baptist Church. It has been in operation since 1988 when it was started by Thomas Shappy and run by Ray & Vi Whitbeck. Some years later, Kathy Ortgies took the reins. Today it is directed by Judith Warner. There are about fifteen dedicated volunteers who generously give their time and energy. Together with Judith, they faithfully serve the community. Braman Hall Food Pantry is now a member of Pantries of the Capital District. Our pantry continues to serve food insecure individuals and families in and around our community.
